Joemma Beach is located on the southeast Key Peninsula and is a great place to hang out, camp, hike, fish, launch your boat and so much more. I prefer to take pictures. In my opinion, it is truly one of the gems of the area and probably my favorite beach.
Sometimes I will come here just to clear my head or laugh at Sea Lions. There is quite a lot of beach to walk so during the summer, you can always dress down a bit and soak up some rays. A private land owner donated most of the land to the public and I am glad he did because I love Joemma and I love the drive to get there,
There is a kids camp called Camp Coleman located there as well as another great park, Penrose State Park, located nearby.
